Wow, like 10 days left, which is about 15 weeks in dog time, could get way up there.

Good point, without the original trapped air with lower Cesium 137 levels how can one be sure?

Ripster used to be hot but now he's some old hag.

Could this be the one SSK I've been looking for? Depending on the price. I may have to give it up early like the other ones.

Maybe the original Ripster will fight back.

Hopefully it won't go as high as most.

the only chance of a SSK with low winning price is that you don't see a post here before the auction ends

Ha, that wouldn't help.  Everyone has saved searches in place for these. :)  I've bid on a lot... no luck.  I want one, but not *that* bad.

I bought one (used, not NIB) for $75 BIN recently.  Other used ones sold for as little as I think $45 BIN.  Just last week a used SSK went for about $107 on eBay, that was an auction, not BIN.  If one is patient a used SSK can be bought for a very reasonable price.

Not mine but when I do sell one it will also be listed as "NIB In Climate Controlled Storage Guarded By Sirens".

What type of sirens?  The female variety, or the variety that make a loud noise?

I can't hear you.  My ears are plugged with beeswax and the captain is tied to the mast.

Well it sounds like your sirens are easily defeated, so not so sure what value they are.  Methinks you might want to reconsider and have your NIB SSK guarded by the Gorgon sisters instead.

Hi Geekhack!

This and the AT F that Sam posted were my auctions. I just got back today from a family vacation in the Outer Banks and never got around to posting them here. I also feared coming across as a spammer for the auctions, but I did review the two threads and was happy to see the interest.

I'm stateside now for a while (starting PhD work at UW in Sept), and might become more active again at GH posting reviews and whatnot. Or the opposite may be true and I'll disappear for good. It all depends on how I handle the new workload.

Anyways, it's always nice to see everyone here! I miss GH but have had a very full plate lately.

UW-Madison. I could care less about sports, but a badger is a formidable beast! I can't wait to be in Madison.
