Razer Black Widow?
« on: Sun, 17 July 2011, 03:32:06 »
Hello,

I am looking for a new keyboard because my old G11 is broken.

I want to test out a mechanical keyboard. It should have QWERTZ Layout because i am from Austria.

There are only very few mechanical keyboards (beside these Cherrys) and so i found the Razer Black Widow:
http://www.amazon.de/Razer-Black-Widow-Tastatur-schwarz/dp/B004H0GVGQ

Is there a better keyboard for me with QWERTZ Layout?

I am writing pretty much & i am also gaming a lot (especially shooter) -> So the new keyboard should be suitable for both.

Thanks

Do you know which switch you want? Do you want tenkeyless or a full size board?  What's your budget?

Xarmor u9 BL/BL-s, Qpad-Mk80, Mionix Z60, Black widow ultimate If you want a backlit keyboard.

Steelseries 6gv2 or 7g, Zowie celeritas, some ducky if you want something cheaper.

I have the black widow, its a very nice board. They glossy part sucks because of fingerprints. The cherry blue switches that it comes with are very loud, so if your doing some late night gaming i would take that into consideration. The feel of the board is amazing, its very well constructed and is awesome to type on.
