My keyboard collection
« on: Fri, 22 July 2011, 21:05:41 »
Hello all,

I'm fairly new here, but I've been reading/lurking for a while.
I thought I'd post my current keyboard collection and see if there's any hidden gems in there. Don't laugh- my current collection is nowhere near as impressive as most on here. Sadly, I don't own any mechanical keyboards at present, but I am taking steps to rectify this situation!

Keyboards, in no particular order:

-Dell SK8110. I have several of these and have access to heaps at work if I want them. I personally like these quite a lot- they are a simple, basic keyboard with a good feel to them.
-Dell AT101R. I recently received this from the US. It's in good condition, but needs a good clean. I'm using this as my 'practice cleaning old keyboards' board, as I didn't pay much for it so I don't mind if something goes wrong during the cleaning process (it shouldn't though- I'm not doing anything extreme).
-Chicony KB-2961 An old AT beige board with windows keys. Keys have a good feel to them, but I don't have an AT/ps2 adaptor yet so I couldn't use it even if I wanted to. Needs a good clean
-LiteOn SK-720. This is a little heavier than my other boards (not counting the AT101R). Made by Silitek according to the label.

So yes, lots of rubber domes at the moment. Ah well, have to start somewhere.

Anything remotely of interest in there? I'm guessing not.
