Did you not read that I bought it two days ago??
And if you're in California, it would be cheaper than the total cost if you bought it from Elitekeyboards because you wouldn't have to pay tax so it would save you about 20 bucks for the price of 285 vs the price I got it for which was 308.
And even more, if shipping were $30 to ship across the country you would only be paying $10 of it.
You are right in that if a california buyer wanted your keyboard they would defintely be saving more if they bought it from EK directly due to the taxes
I think the poster what just trying to point out that if you are outside of california you would be only saving about only ~ $3 bucks if they bought yours so your almost limiting yourself to a CA buyer. Most of the non CA buyers I would assume would just rather then buy it from EK.
Also understand that you just bought it two days ago and everyone wants to get back most of what they spent on it... but even selling brand new things( which might have been used for little bit) for retail price is a hard sell.
Also shipping something across the country should not even come close to $30 dollars... You ship USPS in a flat rate for $14.95 in the large box or if it can fit even in the medium flat rate box thats only $10.95.. if it cant fit it in either it would probably cost you no more than $18 maybe.. I ship alot of items and even to the east coast from where I am in Cali usually not that much.
Like i said GLWS with the sale.. its your poractive to what you want to sell it for so if you want a fast sale you might want to take offers or if you can wait maybe someone will pay your ask.
also looks like the previous sold for $240 and he got his on July 9th
