Update: #3 is sold.

Rigs asked that I mention that one of the screws on the 87U is stripped. It's been that way since I bought the board and is fixable. I just never fixed it. Not an issue unless you want to open up the board/mod it.

Yeah I am fine with that.. it seems you have a good reputation here (if not, someone please point it out, haha)...but it needs to be in a shipment that I could track.

but, um, I am really struggling at the moment...a friend of mine found a 87U silent in a Chinese forum and I can't choose between yours and that one. The one in China is cheaper ( around $280) and silent (my girlfriends hates me typing when she wants to go to bed) but my friend would not come back till next Feb. (Am I to wait for half a year till my $280 turns into a real keyboard?...)

how about this? let me keep on struggling for a while..if someone approaches you, just sell it..if I ultimately make up my mind to have it as fast as I can, I'll let you know. anyway, thank you very much.

Btw, if any of you guys have some friends coming back from China, it might be a good idea to keep an eye in Chinese forums. They seem to be cheaper than US market (and esp EK). There were even a few mint Realforce 86UB sold at about 150$.

That's fine...just let me know.

The Topre switch and cherry black are nearly polar opposites - the Topre is a light, soft and tactile switch. Whereas the cherry black is takes a lot more force to press down and is completely linear (no tactile bump when you press it down).
