What keyboard do you type the fastest with?

I thought this would be a good way to gauge what keyboard is the best for fast typing. Obviously, some people are overall faster than others (and so some keyboards may be better suited for fast typists, while others may be suited for slow typists), and many people own multiple keyboards, so I'm thinking this would be the best format to follow:

Quote

Average WPM: _________
Peak WPM: ________

(In order of fastest to slowest)
Keyboard #1 (Please include switch type)
Keyboard #2
Keyboard #3
etc.

With that said, I'll start:

Average WPM: 105
Peak WPM: 130-ish

1. HP Rubberdome
2. Filco with Cherry Blues

The EeePC 1001
avg: ~90
peak: 105

Second is my MX11800 with avg 85WPM.

I current have a Leopold Brown and Realforce 86ub.

Much easier to type fast on Brown.

Average is 120wpm, peak 150wpm (typeracer stats)

1. Leopold Brown
2. RF 86ub variable

Average WPM is 90-95, Peak WPM I think I hit was 105.

1. Filco MJ2 w/ Browns
2. Filco 104 Linear-R (Reds)
3. Filco MJ2 Ninja w/ Blacks
4. Das Ulti w/ Blues

That's just my personal gut feeling, haven't done any objective testing.

The somewhat mushy domes on my Freestyle :) I do 90-95 wpm. I type much faster and with less mistakes than on the Filco Browns I've been using for a year. (I can only type fast (90+ wpm) and accurately by bottoming out on the browns, which is way too noisy)

Domes ftw! (or Topre, but I'm not made of money..)

Have one of you who types fast/fastest with Cherry Browns tried adding landing pads or o-rings to it and, if so, what was your result?

I type best on Browns, with dental bands. The bands don't really effect feel, just the noise, as they're much smaller than an O ring.

Second is probably the SIIG minitouch, followed by the Macbook.

Any idea how the firm pads from EK might do compared to the dental bands?

I have a Leopold 104 Brown on the way. Brian at EK was kind enough to suggest to me that if I use his landing pads I'd probably be happier with the firms.

But I'm wondering if I should bother looking into, well, I thought it was firm landing pads from EK vs o-rings but now I have to wonder about the dental bands, too.

I type fast. I would prefer quieter but don't want to unnecessarily compromise the benefits of the Browns.

And if I put dampeners in I'd like them to be a material that will last.

Firm pads from EK is the "easiest" since I'd need to look-and-learn no further. But are they the best choice?

Oh, I see the top recommendation seems to be o-rings from http://www.mcmaster.com and the top recommendation seems to be 5mm ID x 1.5 at hardness of about 70 or, "preferably" more like 40, which is softer.

Probably does the same thing in general as dental bands, but gives more control over tolerances and firmness level, and is probably more durable.

Thanks!

Edit: When I say "preferably" more like 40, that's one person's suggestion. I'm over in another thread on this subject asking if we can quantify these hardness levels as compared to, say, EK soft and firm landing pads.

When I last cleaned my work-keyboard with Browns, I noticed that there were dental bands on a couple of keys. They must have been there for a year. I had not noticed, but I don't bottom out that much on browns either.
