Filco Browns Tenkeyless
« on: Tue, 09 August 2011, 08:39:35 »
I'm selling my Diatec Filco Majestouch Tactile Touch Tenkeyless.
My asking price is 600 NOK/~$108 USD. It cost me a lot more to get the board shipped to Norway. If you're also in Norway, buying this will be much cheaper than buying a Filco/Leopold from eg. keyboardco or elitekeyboards.
The board is in excellent shape, I've used it moderately for a year.
It has a reversed spacebar and comes with a red Esc and a USB -> PS2 adapter. The spacebar mod can be undone upon request. (Though I don't recommend undoing it, it really improves comfort)

The key above the board is the original Esc.
(Sorry about the picture quality, it was the best I could get with my phone)

I think it would be + 25% + 100 = 975 NOK (124 euros)

$50. Plus customs..
You're probably better off buying from EK if you're in the US.

Reversing spacebar improves comfort? Is there a thread about this somewhere (couldn't find anything by searching)?

I guess he refers to the sharp edge of the spacebar when the keyboard is lying flat.
I have no problems even with my Realforce in that regard tho, although everybody says its very sharp. But I use the stands, so not flat, and with wrist rest.

Hi, I'll post it here so other UKers can see the info. The rules for shipping and customs are extremely complex in Norway, but I've gathered that it will be £32 (GBP) for shipping plus extra (huge) customs expenses (for the Posten toll service plus Tollvesenet). You're probably better off buying from the UK-based http://keyboardco.com/ to avoid all the insane shipping and customs expenses.

Because of the Nazis at Tollvesenet and Posten, this offer is primarily good for Norwegians.
