Elite Keyboards also provides a year warranty. On the document under "Void of Warranty", one of the bullet points says "Reselling the product without authorization of warranty transfer explicitly supplied by EliteKeyboards." Therefore, I'll contact Brian at EK and get their authorization of transfer for the new buyer assuming he's willing. (I've bought a couple boards and accessories, so I'm optimistic he will cooperate.)
I've since bought a Realforce 86UB, and while I probably prefer the HHKB layout, I've decided to stay more "normal" as it became a bit difficult to switch between my boards like I enjoy.
