Anyone know about vintage typewriters?
« on: Mon, 15 August 2011, 00:56:56 »
I've got a really old Adler typewriter that my mum gave me years ago. I used to use it in the late 80's before PC's and microsoft word became the norm. It must be well over 40 years old. I haven't taken it out of the cupboard to see the specific model, but on the top it says 'Special'. Weighs a ton! It still works I think, and is grey coloured. Wondering if it's worth anything much to a collector.

I guess it all depends on the rarity of the model and the condition of it.

The only way you'll figure out its value is by figuring out the model, maybe post a couple pics here, somebody may be able to help you.
