Hi,

First off: Been away, working on my challenge to be the #1 Keyboard Expert on the Planet.  In the process of said demagoguery, I have accumulated about nine hundred thousand bajillion trillion quarillion zillion Alps keycaps, and they're all Caucasian.  I would like to purchase 108+ Alps keycaps (a full set plus some "interesting" ones) that are less bland.

If you send me a bag of Dells, I'll be sending them back with some molecular recomposition, so don't do that.

On a kinder note, I already have NeXT and Sony keycaps in droves, so what I'm really looking for are non-white, non-black, QWERTY double-struck keys from non-USA and/or non-PC keyboards.

I have stuff to barter, including cash (which can be exchanged for goods and services).

SECONDARY PURPOSE for this post: if the classifieds mod could please reach out to me, I'd like to buy some ad space so I can post all these loose/extra doodads and not look like a spammer.  Willing to pay cash (which can be exchanged for goods and services).

THIRD PURPOSE for posting: holy cow, has this place gotten busy, or what?!

Look for Sharp's PA-1000H typewriter. The one at the local thrift store had double shot gray keycaps and green Alps switches.

There's also this old Panasonic at the local thrift store with low contrast double shot black keycaps, but with sucky contrast.

Neither are for keyboards so you won't get the full set. I also have neither so don't ask me.

I actually have something, though im not 100% sure yet if im going to sell these, since these are the best caps I have found in the entire time of my Keyboard obsession. Incredible texture and feel, plus the vintage look just does something for me. Reason im not using them is I currently dont have a decent alps board and the whole y-z thing bothers me too much, since im used to ISO-DE layout.

Here are some pics:

I don't normally horde keycaps, but I would sleep with these under my pillow.

Hmm looking at that pic my color balance is definitely off a bit (thats what i get for using easy photo mode)

They are actually a very pleasing deep chocolate brown, not black.
