We kind of have the same taste. I sooooooo love davichi and I'm a proud Kamilia! And A is my favorite Rainbow song as of late. You might wanna check out 2NE1, secret, and after school too!

Haha yes it does seem like we have similar tastes in k-pop then. I have been a fan of Secret for quite a while and enjoy some 2NE1 and After School occasionally too!

@Lanx - Yeah I think it's because they haven't been promoting anything new for about half a year in addition to a lot of other popular groups beginning promotions such as SNSD, KARA, G.NA, T-ARA etc.

True they do seem to be very autotuned which is why they aren't on my daily listening lists. Most of my friends are really into them so I do still listen to them or else I'm out of the loop. Park Bom's singles are actually worth listening to though.

anyone listen to k-pop boy bands?, again my fiance' is the one that listens to k-pop and by proxy i hear it as well, along with seeing the playlist and youtube and having a minor interest in what she's doing for conversation, i know and have heard bigbang, infinite, super junior and prolly others.
recently she's into watching ppl cover the dance video's, the trend seems to be korean dance studios put up a cover of a dance on youtube and that's how they advertise, along with the usual person that just wants to do a dance cover. off the top of my head these ppl are the good ones.
i think "Maybe" cuz of the outfits, it's better than the t-ara video...

I listen to an Asian Pop internet radio station so yes I do end up listening to some of the male bands, but I'm not too keen on them. I'd probably say my favourite would be CN.Blue.

Those covers were pretty good especially the T-ara one.

asian pop internet? i'm not too keen on this internet radio, care to give a quickie lesson? i've been trying to find a streaming "on the go" thing for the iphone/droid like pandora/slacker, but no go on that front. There's also this school that i guess is like the Julliard of k-pop dancing in korea and they make covers with current students and they look really good, i'll ask fiance' for a link later, they actually do good GG covers, other GG covers i've seen are bad. There was this world wide GG cover contest i guess, and it's so sad that they have guys dance along with the girls and the guys are 90% of the time better than all of the girls on the team.

This is just a sub-station of a broadcasting network here in Australia (SBS) http://www.sbs.com.au/chinese/program/popasia/?siteLanguage=en_AU They do have an iPhone app atm for on the go stuff, and are apparently working on one for Android. (I'm waiting on that so I can start listening on the go). But for general music that isn't k-pop I'm a little lost on helping you. Sorry. I avoided listening to most music until I got into k-pop. I did listen to a k-pop station on here too before, but the SBS one has much higher quality than that particular station had at the time. http://www.shoutcast.com/

I think they should have promoted Trick instead :( It's so much better.

Today I went out and bought a few kpop albums. I got the SNSD 3rd album repackage (Mr. Taxi version of The Boys), the SNSD Japanese Album and G.Na's Black & White Album. Also bought G.Na - Top Girl, but they made a mistake at the counter and I ended up with 2 SNSD Japanese albums instead and only noticed when it was too late to travel an hour back to the store. :P Atleast that sorts out a Christmas present for another friend of mine.
