I'm thinking about getting a mechanical keyboard, currently I'm using the Logitech G15 v2. Not exactly unsatisfied, but still, those mechanical ones just sound and feel awesome.
However, I also want it to be illuminated, which is where my problem starts. The only illuminated mechanical keyboard available in stores here is the Razer Black Widow Ultimate. Which seems to have 2 major issues: Either full or no backlight (other modes seem to be noisy) and very loud keystrikes - I tried it in the store myself and damn, it IS loud. And expensive, but I guess it won't get much cheaper if one wants light + mech.
I have visited the Deck website and really liked their designs, the downside is: No German layout :ohwell:
Another interesting one might be the Mionix Zibal 60, but all I find about this one are 2 reviews, it's not available anywhere for a good while already. And it's unknown when stores will finally get it.
So I'm wondering: Are there other keyboards with German key layout which are mechanical and illuminated, except for the Razer? There are requests of this kind in the Deck forums, but looks like it will never happen :ohwell: I guess there aren't enough potential customers for them to produce any.
