What kind of switches do this two keyboards have?

Hi,

I have the chance to buy two keyboards. One is a Cherry G80-1800 HAD. I wounder what kind of switches it has.

The other one is a bit more trickey. Its a Goldstar Keyboard. Pics here. I can see that there is a spring. But what' underneath it? Maybe I should give it a try anyways.

BTW, I'm typing on my new G80 with black right now. I got this one for just 3 € ;) but i'm not quite sure i i like it more or less than white ALPS (quite a different feeling.)

Check out Dating Cherry keyboards in the wiki:
G80: Cherry corp G80-series keyboards, with Cherry MX switches.
1800: The 1800 model
H - High quality key caps
A - Cherry MX Black switches
D - German ("Deutsch") layout on the key caps

I don't recognize the switches in the Goldstar keyboard, but the model number indicates that it was built by BTC.

The goldstar looks like foam and foil capacative.

So the Goldstar is kinda more like a Rubberdome than a MX Switch?

I saw that thread also, but it does not look exactly the same. Why would a rubber dome keyboard have metal springs?
I guess that it has a linear feel but actuates at the very bottom ...

Yes it's the exact same thing. The switch is sagging when the cap is removed as the spring provide the support when the keycap is installed. I think a rubber dome version wouldn't have the springs under the keycaps.

The second one is a Key Tronic rubber dome keyboard. The best rubber dome there is, according to many.
