Hi everyone. Sorry if I look a bit of a leech with this being my first post but I have lurked here for a while O_O

Ok, so I'm looking into my first mechanical keyboard and after alot of searching I have found this keyboard.What i was wondering is what kind of switches it uses. It says MX Crosspoint Contacts but I can't seem to find any information on them? I don't really understand what they are, or alternatively if anyone has any experience with this keyboard it would be great to know.

Thanks alot :)

Remove a keycap, and check for the colour.
Also read this for more information.

I would just like to know what kind of switch it uses before I order. I can't post the link to the keyboard though...

Apparently Blues or Clears, I think, from what I got from the wiki.
Risen from the dead for a model F.

Wyse buy colors were GSY for the dark grey, GBA for the light grey, and BBI for the fonts.

Maybe if you provided a link to the keyboard it would be helpful.

Yeah, looking on eBay, I see some with Blues, Browns, and what not. This page shows how to decipher the model numbers.

You need to check the model reference :
G80-3000LP... -> MX black (linear)
G80-3000LQ... -> MX clear (I think it's clear actually, they call that soft pressure point, maybe it's brown)
G80-3000LS... -> MX blue (click pressure point)

Have a look at the models tab to have all information needed ;)

@zulios:
Yes... Q is clear switches... not brown...
At last! A mechanical keyboard with Trackpoint of my own! Now with Hyper-Scroll! And also Ergo-Clear switches. Ohh... look... custom keys! :D
