More Filcos at Amazon 9/6

Hello everyone.  I have been checking Amazon daily to order my first mechanical board a filco majestouch 2 tkl w/ browns and they are up!

The product says it wont be in stock until the 14th, but you can order.  I just placed my order a minute ago!

EDIT
I'm not quite sure what Amazon is up to, but it appears that they only had one in stock.  It was fulfilled by thekeyboardco and I know they sent a shipment to Amazon, I had assumed this was it.  There is no way they only shipped one though...Maybe its taking a bit for Amazon to fully update their site?

Most likely.  They are probably just putting these into the system I assume.

Honestly I am not at all worried about the whole ping thing, but I'll be sure to post about my first impressions when it finally gets in.  Projected delivery is not until the 19th though.

As this will be my first experience with a mechanical keyboard I have more worries than this fabled ping issue.  Like whether or not I actually enjoy the switch I picked (browns), and if I realize I actually prefer having a numpad to not having one (since i got a tkl).  I am pretty confident I made the right decision though.

I think the ping issue is overblown a bit. That's a very personal opinion, because I can't even hear the ping on the videos that were recorded to show the ping.

I don't want to freak you out, but here goes.  This Filco I bought was my first mechanical too, and I was sure I wouldn't miss the numpad.  But now that I have a TKL I secretly wish I had gotten the 104 version.

It's fine.  I have done a lot of thinking about it myself and came to the decision that way.  Obviously different strokes for different folks and all.  I will probably just use the numpad as an excuse to buy a full-sized board with different switches if I really like the mechanical feel, which I'm led to believe it's impossible not to.

Heh, yup exactly.  I will probably be picking up a full-size Rosewill at some point. :)

Most people haven't experienced the issue. Because it's sporadic.
Therefore they think it's overblown.

The ping problem does not really bother me.  But I saw an audio by ripster I believe with his realforce.  That ping was pretty bad...

Filco has really dropped the ball on distribution to the US. There's really no excuse for not being able to keep the majority of their keyboards in stock.

Too bad EK doesn't have a TKL red Leo for sale.

Yea. The white Filco you have on ebay looks really good.

Wristrests are gone now. I got the penultimate one.
