Buying keyboards in China
« on: Tue, 06 September 2011, 14:54:16 »
Hello everyone,

Yeah, Im new to this forum but I've been lurking for quite some time, reading through the topics to find an ideal keyboard for me. I play pretty high level SC2, and I feel that the current keyboard I have is just not fine to play on (Razer Lycosa)... so my father went China yesterday and we can always ask him to bring electronics and stuff mainly because they're cheaper over there.

I think I'll use a keyboard for gaming and typing, but mostly gaming though, so I figured Cherry Browns or Blues would do, Ive heard blacks are pretty bad for RTS styled games but excell at FPS, and I play CS:S maybe 2 hours a weak and SC2 gets around 14+ hours, and I play to keep the keyboard for a few years (2 or so).

Keyboards Ive looked into:
- Rosewill RK-9000 browns (not released yet)
- Filco Majestouch browns (costs a lot including VAT)
- Razer Blackwidow, I just dont like the design.
- Steelseries 6gv2. Unfortunately, theyre blacks.
- Leopold keyboard
- Zowie Celeritas, but durability is a problem.
- Ducky DK9000

I don't really know if prices would differ, but Im pretty sure you can get it over the border without paying VAT or anything ridiculous like that, what are geekhack thoughts?
Greets ^^
