Just came across a DT225, somewhat unusual looking - gray with black-colored buttons and ball. All DT225s I've seen have been either all gray or all black.

The item's being sold by a company which manages surplus assets and it was probably pulled from a medical facility. The asking price is $75.

I believe some DT225s have sold on eBay for around $20. Is $75 too much?

Any suggestions on where I could get a used DT225 that's in good condition?

I recently bought mint white DT225 on eBay For $49. It was advertised as used but I really couldn't find any marks of use on it.

I would advise not buying anything from a medical facility. Simply because of the fact it may not have been properly sanitized and you can get some really bad nasties from it. Nothing that is available to consumers will kill everything that is present in a hospital. You'd need to buy commercial-grade cleaner, and it wouldn't be worth it because you have to buy that stuff in bulk.

I never considered that possibility. Wouldn't like to pick up any germs.

I guess there are advantages to have family members work in medical sterilization. Anything I pick up used from a hospital goes to them first, and they make sure it's clean. There are even sterilizers that can be used on computers and peripherals, including monitors. How cool is that?
