There are tons of models. And most of them are POS boards and they don't like to follow the traditional model numbers for what is what so you pretty much have to ask a seller to pop off a keycap and take a pic for you.

I do have clears for sale in my thread that have already been removed if you wanna go that route.

Like I said, I have stems for sale and I'm pretty sure rawko has POS boards still available on ebay.

I got my clear board from rawko. Was a bit dirty, but the switches were in great shape. Bought it just for the stems too, so no biggie.

Thanks. I checked rawko and all he has are White stems. They are like Blues, either softer or harder to press, according to sixty. Now I am wondering about them for gaming lol.

white = clear

and not sure what you mean by them being like blues. clears are stiffer than blue by a significant amount and they are not clicky.

The G80-3000LQC have "clear" switches (60cN, tacktile, non clicky). They are easily available in Europe but i don't know about the US.

Yeah, I know that but Whites are different according to sixty. I was going by that. rawko says "WHITE SWITCH" so I assumed they are White. I'd prefer if they are Clears.

the "whites" he talks about, for all intents and purposes are non-existent. the board that he got those from is from 1986. it was a really early design and i doubt you will ever come across one, especially in the US.

if you ever see someone call a switch white, 99.999% of the time they will be referring to clears, or they are new and bought a G81 and think they have clears/whites.

the rawko boards are 100% clears if he says they are white.

Oh, GOOD! Thank you. :becky:

That keyboard is a Cherry MX 8000 POS Card Swipe Keyboard. It's old and rusty. I didn't know when it came out but I thought it could have been the 80s. I didn't Google the model number but it seems old. I read sixty say Whites were old and rare but I didn't know what to make of it.

You cleared that question for anyone doing a Google search on Clears/Whites.

Yep, the clear-white isn't realy there. As clear switches are tranlucent white, not very clear at all...
So I should add something useless here yes? Ok, ok...

The rawko boards are made somewhere between 2002-2007 based on what I can see on the ones I got.

well like you guys have suggested, i went with that rawko guy, good lord! these keyboards are nasty looking, whatever, he actually pulls off a switch and shows you a clear, so it was just easier that way.
the model was cherry mx 8000

i'd take up your offer biniaris but like i said i also need a pcb to fab with as well this time.

No worries, rawko is your man for sure then. The few boards that I have bought from his have been decently dirty, but a few looked like they were brand new. It's just random.

Well, I went with my man BiNiaRiS. Ordered the Clears and Browns and Reds with Clear and Brown/Red Springs.

I'm gonna buy a new cheap Italian Black Switch G80 and try out Panda Clears and Ergo Clears! FAPFAPFAP!

Nice doing business with you BiNiaRiS. Let me know if you get Green or Blue stems in! :cheer2:

May I say that BiNiaRiS is a great seller. There was a little problem with him miscounting his selling stock of Red stems. No problem at all, he refunded my $2 right away. Thanks!

He sent out Friday and I got it today (Monday). Mail was cushion (thanks) and he taped and shut well the little containers (lol at KFC). I counted the pieces because I'm a jerk and everything is there. 54 Red stems, 87 Brown stems and springs, and 109 Clear stems and springs. He even gave me an extra Clear stem/spring. :loco:

Hope to buy from you in the future, bro.

PS: Holy crap is it hard to count springs on a dark gray rug. They all got stuck together and were flying all over the place in my fingers. What a pain in my ripster.

yabbut it is worth the effort, the clears feel so good...  love 'em

I do have two rawko boards, and I think the keycaps needed three rounds with the denture tabs to look pristine again :/  must have been used in an auto parts store or something (not unlikely; I have seen Cherry POS boards at Autozone before)

Pretty sure they were used by swamp people giving airboat rides. Or maybe sewer technicians. Or maybe the guy that shovels coal on a steam boat.
