Sir. I like you. What is your screename and what rank are you? I'm fairly into SC2 myself... in fact I'm running the SC2 keycap group buy. I know a few other GMs and some pros/good players in Korea as well. Slayers_Eve being the most prominent. God she's incredible lol.
As for relating to the thread, I have a Leopold tkl brown I'm mulling over selling... I make trips to Canada occasionally with the next one at
US Thanksgiving, if you can wait that long shipping would be cheaper. If not I don't have much problem shipping from the US if you don't. I'm basically looking to get back what I have into it which is around $120 but we can work something out. Its mint as all of my things are, used about a month or so and kept clean. I can post pics of it later but its a regular (not otaku) cherry brown board. I could swap the keys to otaku if you like. I've got both a brown and a blue (otaku) board and I'm in the process of deciding which one I like better. I could certainly save you some money over buying new.
Lmk what you think. Browns work great for SC2 I've found, I like them better than blacks for sure and they're just as good as blues for it. I think I like the typing on the blues better but that's about it. They're very similar except the blues have that click which is noisy but interesting as far as feeling goes. Any mechanical is orders of magnitude better than a membrane though.
Btw qtan SC2 doesn't really use the A,A-... ladder that ICCUP does, but NA GM can range from B to A- in skill with quite possibly a couple of A players... as far as Brood War skill is anyway. I don't think there was/is anyone in NA that is A skill level in BW. If you were to make the comparison to SC2, there are definitely some "A" class players in NA GM but most of those would be in Korea as well. NA GM can mostly be compared to A- though. Slayers_Eve was A- brood war and manages to hit number 1 on both Korea and NA's GM ladder on various smurfs.
