Why is it that blue switch keyboards usually cost 5-10 usd less than their brown/black/red counterpart?
I'm just curious.

Blue switches are pretty much the most common switch type, so Costar and other mass board manufacturers get the serious quantity discounts.

Similar to why clears are so much harder to get and they generally aren't carried. Same for all the more rare variants (not including homebrew ones like ergo clears) that also exist, to a much greater extent.
