i do wish he would use his "master of his domain" authority more, such as settling the dispute of topre = or =/= mechanical/rubberdome. If iMav say's it, then that should be as thus. (at least on GH)
Model M and the large number of "low cost" keyboards out there are membrane switch keyboards
Model F and Topre are capacitive switch keyboards
Cherry, Alps, etc are mechanical switch keyboards
I believe it is also appropriate to describe keyboards by other attributes. (rubber dome, buckling spring, bucking rubber sleeve, space saving, full-sized, etc)
I don't really describe any keyboard as a "mechanical keyboard"... (but if I did, keyboards with mechanical switches would be the most appropriate to be referenced as such)
