Noppoo choc mini holding down buttons on crack?

Does holding down a key for anybody else's noppoo register extremely fast? It feels way faster compared to my leopold. Holy crap, it's gonna take getting used to with the backspace. It's cherry red if it matters.

P.S. Do the laser etched infill key caps wear away after use? Also, are there any places where I could buy a complete set of blank keys that are compatible with it?

I think you can change the key repeat to a slower setting if it'll be an issue.

I suspect this has to do with what Noppoo does to get nkey rollover over USB, though I don't know enough of the specifics to be able to say anything with certainty.

Also, there are plenty of places you can get blank keycaps. WASD for example sells some ABS ones at a good price (in multiple colours, too)

I have had the newer version with improved laser etching for about 3 months now, and there is no sign of any wear.
The keycaps have gotten a bit shiny tho.

If you have one of the older Choc Minis the keycaps will show some quick wear. Mine started to show wear after about 2.5 3 weeks of use(I live at the PC), but the newer ones supposedly have much better longevity.

As far as it triggering fast, I do not experience this.
