VERY gently used. Keyboard has had about one week of use in total. Works perfectly. No appreciable wear.

Includes original box and purple WASD keys.

Selling only because I settled on Kinesis Contoured for daily use. As flat keyboards go, this one is awfully nice. I really like the variable weighting and overall light weight of the keys.

Price dropped to $170.

This Realforce is like new. I used it just a few days to try the switch. No flaws, perfect shape.

Try some topres for half the price of an 87U :biggrin:

The Realforce 87U has a switch to activate the numpad on the keyboard.  It is also said that the 86U is more mass produced than the 87U.  This is a REAL good price though, so you should purchase it before it is gone!

The 86U is actually 30g-45g -55g (esc), the 87U changed the pinkies to 35g.

@internetlad-- It is a good price.

There's still a sale pending though. It's not final, but I'm holding this for someone at the moment.

I will miss this one. It's the first sub-60g-force keyboard I have sold since discovering that lower force keys make my hands feel better. I cannot justify keeping a 'board this valuable if it's not going to be a daily driver.

I'm bummed that the RealForce didn't work out for you.  Strangely enough, I bought the 87U Silent and absolutely love it.  Before that one, my Filcos with the reds were my absolute favorites but now the Silent Realforce beats them all hands down.

Don't be bummed, I enjoyed trying it. It was a nice board and I had wanted to try topres for a while. It's not my daily driver, because no flat keyboard is as comfortable as Kinesis contoured models. And it seemed wasteful to keep such a nice Realforce on the shelf gathering dust when probably a lot of people could enjoy it.

@demik, I originally bought this board from nhwhaup. One of two geekhackers I have met in person, and a recommended seller.

Still glad someone is getting some good use from the 86U.  I agree with you that if you aren't going to get some good use out of it, it's a waste to have it sitting around in a box.  

I totally love the 87U in the Silent version.  Bought that one after I sold the 86U and it is my regular daily keyboard at work.  That was almost my last purchase.  I then bought 2 Pokers with the red switches.  The first one I broke on a business trip by leaving the cord in it.  I thought it was protected amonst the clothing in my suitcase but the inner solder got broken and couldn't be fixed so I ended buying another and treat it very carefully.  

After the keyboard fetish, I jumped on to IPS monitors - more careful with a lot of research before purchasing as they can be a bit pricey.
