All I really have to say is that this thing is absolutely incredible and I couldn't be any happier with it.

This picture has some ****ty photoshop work to remove the shadow to show just how thin this plasma is.

Holy crap. That's a lot of cash. I feel like I would probably just save the grand or so and get a slightly smaller TV.

I got a stellar deal at $1999.99. The item was technically open box, but was never used. Got delivered, wife said take it back before it was ever installed, and it was returned. So basically brand new for a very reduced price.

a grand could get you a rather nice projector for 800ish and 100ish for a good/great 92/100in screen. but imo a projector is too dedicated, you need at least a 14ft throw and dedicate a wall to it, and have blackout cloths for the windows, (i'm in an apt so i had to combine living room + dining room), this is where projector is just less hassle and all good.

Nice tv turbocharged... That's the same model I want.

Any plans to get it professionally calibrated?

I've been super impressed with my 1080p 42" Panasonic plasma, makes every LCD I see look terrible!
