Thanks for the feedback, do want a variable 87U to round out the collection. Also want to see if there is that much of difference coming from a 86UB variable with the 30g pinkes to 35g pinkies but Tsangan might be right and it wont really be noticed.

I think 5g is well within the margin of error for a keyswitch, and wouldn't be noticeable.

The 35g "extremities" drove me crazy on my Realforce. I eventually sold it, vowing to buy a uniform 45g if I ever saw one.

Does Elite Keyboards have a number that you can call? I am thinking about adding an 87U 45g keyboard to my previous order of Topre keycaps.

He does have a number... It was listed on my paypal invoice that was emailed to me

Yes, after seeing the pictures of your white realforce with the blue keys, I had to have one. I plan to put yellow keys on my black 87U and then the white ones that I removed from the white 87U onto my older 86UB (at least the keys that will match).

Too bad that Topre does not sell a similiar set to their 10th anniversary one. I really like that darker gray.

Is there a market for the black Topre keycaps that I remove from an 86UB and 87U?

IIRC KL tried to sell his black keys with no luck, though I'm sure it's possible to sell those, but you shouldn't expect to get too much for those.
