EK has black and white Realforce 87U 45g for pre-order

Ships Oct 31.

I know everybody is excited about their new candy-colored skulls, but we need more keyboards to put them on. I'm in for a black one to put my yellow keycap set on. The 10th anniversary 87U just isn't black enough.

I exercised self-control last time, and then when I come around, it was all sold out.  And had to pay over retail to buy a month-old one.

Sheesh. No sooner do I order a white otaku Leopold from them and they spring the uniform 45g Realforce. I sold my 86UB saying to myself "If I ever come across a uniform 45g it will be mine"...

Brian has been great, but I really need to figure out a way to stop sending him all my money.

Been wanting this to be available easily in the US forever, and it's at the worst possible time. The amount of money I've spent (and will definitely be spending for a while) the past few months on keeping my dad alive make this pretty much off limits. ****ty.

I got a set of blue keycaps for the white, or a set of yellow for the black ;3 No matter how I look at it I want all 3 lol

Kisakuku: Resale on the white is a bit better from what i've seen, I dunno seems like people like white boards more, but the resale on any uniform 45g would be good

For me, both the uniform 45g and variable feel the same to me, especially I am typing furiously.  I would be typing so fast that you really can't tell that your pinky keys are lighter.  But some people feel differently.  I'd imagine uniform 45g feels very different than uniform 55g.

^That's what they say, to me they feel pretty light but not sure if a person can tell from 30g and 35g especially since topre is known to have a +/- 5g or was it 10g on their keys

I use both uniform 45g and variable everyday on different computers I work on.  I definitely can't tell the difference.

I definitely feel the difference between my uniform 45g HHKB and the variable Realforce, but not sure if its just the build quality of the 2 boards, the Realforce feels a lot lighter overall, especially the modifiers i love that light backspace key lol
