This post was typed on a Ducky 2011 Year of the Rabbit
168 Year of the Rabbits were produced world wide.
Tiger Imports has the only 19 released to the United States.
(6) Cherry MX Browns
(13) Cherry MX Blues
The PCB backing is pink (can slightly see it if you look hard enough and are directly over the keyboard). The frame is white, but slightly creamy as opposed to the stark white keys. I wish the frame was a little whiter, but this board still looks amazing! Especially when it's almost completely dark in the room and the blue LED num lock / caps lock keys are on. The blue on white is just awesome.
The Taiwanese logo next to the arrow keys is sweet. The laser etched PBT plastic key caps are super nice and durable. Warning: be sure you are a touch typist - it's White on White, so you can't make out the key letters without looking really hard. I am a touch typist, but still find myself having to squint to find the # or ^ keys when I'm programming.
One other big thing to note: I'm not sure about the browns, but on the blues, the space bar is a little stiffer than the rest of the keys. I was super bummed about this at first, but I've fully adapted and don't even notice anymore unless I think about it. I think Ducky does this to extend the life of the space bar / keyboard, but it does take some getting used to at first.
Overall, the keyboard is amazing visually and functionally. It's a great conversation piece - white on white caps and less than 20 in the country. What more do you need?
