Alright; I have updated the OP with the names of everyone who has ordered up to this point and with the counts of all of the keys.

Jolly Roger is 8 away from a 40% price decrease.
Yellow Awesome Face is 15ct away from a $.30 decrease.
Red Awesome Face and LOD are both about 25 away from the $.30 decrease.

Solo KB has yet to get an order in three days.

42 Jolly Rogers @ $4.67 is $196.14
100 Jolly Rogers @ $1.44 $144

The magic number is 31. Once we get 31 orders, we can order 100 and SAVE money.

It's also cheaper to order 200 Awesome faces right now than it is to order 135.

RCT probably knew and was gonna order 200 instead of 135 and then sell the rest later for a nice profit

This has always been the case, now if only I had ordered 300 of each SC2 key lol. It is fair for the group buy organizer to order up to the next quantity in order to get extras and help with the cost of doing so. If a group buy doesn't get enough momentum to hit even the lowest price break, it isn't the organizer's responsibility to carry it without some benefit in return.

So in this case he would be sitting on 500 spare caps and still be under budget.

I think i'm gonna start running group buys just to profit off everyone.

The benefit of of 500+ caps relating to easy $1000-$2000 in profit I dunno if you can justify that? I'm not saying that running a group buy isnt hard btw I know you have to do a lot of emailing, organizing, mailing etc etc.

At the end of the day it would be impossible for me to give people more keys than they order. The best thing I can do is adjust the prices at the end to the lowest possible based on what the counts allow me to do without having to spend my own money. This will, of course, result in extras coming out of this but because we have 50+ people ordering I cannot make a logical decision as to who deserves the extras.

I have no intention of "profiting" off of everyone by skimming their payments off the top. However, with the extras, I will of course try and resell those to those who want them. All of the current prices reflect what has already been ordered but I cannot adjust them to be the perfect price until the last second of the ordering process.

this was the case, I would probably offer some sort of in the middle price break in order to share the savings. In all of the group buys I've been doing though my minimum is 50 orders for it to get done specifically because it is so unreasonably expensive to not hit that first price break. After that, with the less significant price breaks, it becomes less of an issue for the seller to take advantage of ordering more to save money.

Regardless, I'm certain we're going to be over 50 Jolly Rogers anyways, so it isn't going to be much of an issue.
