Refunds go into paypal account. You have to initiate the withdrawal system if you want the money back into the checking account.

The reason you never got a refund was because you filed a dispute; I can't issue refunds because my Paypal account is frozen but they couldn't issue a reversal because the dispute was filed. I will bring this up with everything else on Monday when I call them.

The way the dispute system works, however, is it goes through the process where the two people try and work it out. It has been worked out, but I cannot physically do the refund because I don't have access to that portion of the account any more. Paypal has to do all of that for me, as they have been doing.

Heads up to those waiting on their refunds: I found mine today, listed next to the original transaction from three weeks ago or whatever (as opposed to showing up at the top as a new transaction).

I called Paypal and they informed me that while as of today all of the reversals are sent out they will take longer for those who used Credit Cards.

Also, if you open up a dispute against this buy then, well, sucks for you. You will actually get your money LAST because I have to go back and manually call paypal about each claim, sort it out with them, and then have them close the dispute. And, because it frustrates me when people do this, I am not very motivated to do it. The Reversals are sent out, just sit on your hands and wait.

Sorry to bother you, but I still don't see a refund even though I had paid using paypal balance. (didn't even know we can use credit cards for group buys)
Anyway, I will wait for a few more days...

I think a few people are still waiting for theirs, ie ripster

Some people got their refunds back today and made payment to me, not quite sure what the hold up is.

As of 24 hours ago everyone was reversed, or Paypal was in the process of reversing them. Wait a week and if nothing has changed then I will see what I can do but on my end everything is reversed.

Call before you file the dispute, you'll likely get the refund A LOT faster that way.

the reverse was there, but for some reason it was being held temporarily. i gave them a call and within 20 mins (due to 4 stupid reps that didnt know what they were doing) i got the money back in my account

It's not easy to call them from overseas.. time difference, cost, etc.
especially when there are "stupid reps" adding more calling time. LoL

Both of you do not have to worry, I am 110% that you will get your money back, reason being is they closed RCT account deeming it unsafe for the buyers so they are trying to protect you in some very odd way. They have no right to not refund your money. Their process of refund is just "special" that is all.
