Hey Rag, got the keys, thanks for putting in the effort. Don't know what to say though, my Backspaces sure as hell won't correctly fit any of my keyboards with Cherry stabilizers. It looks like there's excessive curvature on the entire key. Any way to get an RMA from SP?

This can't be normal, I just tested with some doubleshot Backspaces from the crapbag, and they fit fine just like my genuine Cherry corp.

Wait... what? What keyboards do you have? These fit most boards out there, but not all. If your particular key has a curved base, then it could be a problem, but I didn't notice any that were bad... and for you to have 2 that are defective is simply not possible.

I know, I've seen SP keys with and without this problem. Just my luck getting two keys, both out of tolerance. Time to check my BlackWidow.

Whenever I got my SP PBT set in from \KL (where did that guy go, anyway?) I thought the same. The backspace looked super curved. It still worked fine, though. I've only tried it on costar stabilizers.

Anyone know why the "gold" part of the triforce caps aren't textured? They almost feel like a pad-print? Either way, my pinkie won't care. as far as the colour, I'd prefer a brighter yellow, but this is great, nontheless.

To be clear, I can "force" it on, but the key will bind and be stuck halfway depressed. Makes sense if you think about the design of Cherry vs Costar stabilizers.
As an aside, this is the first time I've managed to rip out a Cherry stabilizer while removing a keycap. Damn you SP, I guess you're only Cherry-stem compatible!

Huh, yeah that sorta makes sense, I'm going through them now and looking. There is definitely some variance in the curve. That is why they don't make PBT spacebars, because they can't get them to not curve often enough. I'll send you some straighter ones if you want to do a swap. The ones you have should fit some Leopolds etc.

i rip out my damn space bar on my poker all the time because of the stupid cherry stabilizers

I'm down for that. Just make sure you find some that are as straight as possible, would be great if you had a Cherry board to test with.

got mine too but the backspace really feels weird when i put it on my Filco MJ 2... The stem is extremely loose as in the stabilizers fall out when i tap on the backspace. I have 3 sets but all 3 of them have this problem. Other than that thanks for the gb and fast shipping service Rag.

Hello everyone. I received my keys as well. Pro Tip. Use a little tiny pinch of paper to tighten the stabilizer. Just cover the hole with a tiny pinch of paper and shove that stabilizer into it. WORKS GREAT!

Yeah after typing on an Otaku keyboard for a while, I realized I really didn't need legends at all. Otherwise I would have more issues than most with all the random keys I have on my Leo.
