Can someone explain this...?

[ Attachment Invalid Or Does Not Exist ] 32735[/ATTACH]

This was something I noticed while doing my Ducky YOTR review.  It's a strangle little piece of plastic under the function key.  Ripster thinks it is a defect, but it almost looks intentional.  Anyone seen anything like this?

Looks to me to be a non-knocked sprue from the plastic tree, or perhaps the remnant from a gouged die and they just didn't grind or clip it after the casting. If it is really thin, it's just excess flashing from a warped or a partially unseated (perhaps damaged) die.

Super razor blade to the rescue! Judo-chop!
don't "strangle" it, LoL  =P

My PLU has something similar in almost the same place. I can post pictures if requested.

I think it's just a sprue indeed.

I would like to see some pictures.  I am not familiar with acronym "PLU" though; what keyboard is that?

A knife and a steady hand cleans boards up better than new.

It is pretty good quality, but I think my RK-9000 may be better.  The only thing that is bothersome is the top of the case molding.  Quality has definitely improved over things like the 1087.
