Because
1) He Really was the first person to make me think about the layout of a keyboard and the benefits and downfalls the majority of them have.
2) I loved the work he put into his miniguru proto and it made me smile, as well as proved to be inspiring.
3) He made me rethink and indulge in the usefullness of a small/compact keyboard. With little if any sacrafices.
4) I fantasize about having buttons near the space bar, no... WAIT! That's why I hate him! LoL (I wan't those sooooo bad)
5) He got me used to a trackpad and trackpoint.
6) He got me interested in testing out a... and making a... as well as a...
7) He got me thinking on my own about what layouts I would want, like the idea I had for home arrows (I am probably not the first though)
J(Left), K(Up), L(Down), ;(Right). I would love that so much if that second layer was activated by buttons below the spacebar!!!!! =D =D =D
He made me realize why I like this community
9) He made me more open to and comfortable with suggestions. (lets not get too carried away though, LoL)
10) He Made me more focused on doing it right rather than getting it done.
11) He will understand that I am writing this as pure appreciation of his pursuit and not because I want an eventual freebie or because I want to pressure him into making anything.
I just really wanted to write this a long time ago and never got around to it.
