Vintage Compaq XT keyboard - unknown specifications
« on: Tue, 06 December 2011, 15:14:51 »
This is an old Compaq XT style keyboard. I don't see anything like a model number, and I have not opened it. I got it from a salvage facility and it appears to be in good condition.

I can't test it, because my Teensy is securely installed in my Model F 122-terminal (thanks Soarer) and I am not going to take it apart just to test this one.

The price is low, $10 plus shipping, via USPS - that is $15.65 domestic, $58.65 international. East of the Mississippi it might go a little cheaper via UPS.

I would consider trade for IBM Model M/F or Cherry compatible keys.

You know that you need this for your collection.

Nice, and mint condition it seems. But seriously, do I really need YET another board I'll never use?
Maybe. Have to think about it.

It is in great shape. I just gave it a quick vacuum and wipe-down.

If you took it apart and really cleaned it, it would probably sparkle.
