New Topre Realforce 88UB black (UK) and 87UW white (US)

I am blaming all of you for creating such an authoritative site for keyboards. I felt into the bucket of the massive amount of great information provided, and went from crappy boards to 2 Topre Realforce! I blame you all!

I thought this was worth a new post as I ordered the 88UB black UK layout, all 45g from thekeyboardco in London. I have also got a 87UW, white, US layout from EK, this has variable weight (35/45/55).
For info the 88UB does not have LED's like the 87U, and no dip switch, more like an 86U really. It is shipped only with yellow WASD and a keycap puller.

Both feel fantastic, after enough usage I now prefer the variable weight even if at first it felt more 'mushy' than the all 45 one. I am better used to UK layout so little adaptation was required, but despite the *real* investment Topre board represent, I am really really happy with my purchase, so thanks again everyone for the very useful information!

I too have the UK 88U Topre Realforce keyboard.  The black stealth version... super cool!

It does take a while to appreciate how good a keyboard it really is however.  I was a little disappointed initially because, as you point out, it doesn't have any of the "extra" features of the 87UW.

But I have forgiven it this minor failing, and have to confess to being very impressed with it.

Expensive but you get what you pay for.

Ps I'd buy another one if they implemented the features on the US 87UW at the drop of a hat.
