Rosewill RK-9000BR with Cherry MX Browns (or similar alternatives)
« on: Fri, 16 December 2011, 18:08:17 »
I've been a lurker for the last little while, and I'm still looking for my first mechanical keyboard.

I finally decided on the Cherry MX Brown switches, and have determined that the Rosewill or Filcos are the most preferred around here in terms of build quality. I'd also be okay with a Leopold, if somebody has one available.

I live in Canada, so it needs to be able to be shipped here. I'd also need one of those keycap puller tools.

Budget-wise, I'd be looking at slightly under $100 shipped...

I hope there is something available out there! I was quite disappointed when it went out of stock on Newegg just yesterday, right around when I decided which one to get.

There's a few leopolds on the classified that's at your price range. The Rosewill brown hovers just over 100 and Filco would be quite difficult to find for 100 or less but can get some for 110ish

The Leopolds available are mostly TKL, and I'm definitely looking for 104-key standard-layout keyboard (whoops, forgot to mention that in my first post!)
