How do you get the back off a full sized Filco?
« on: Sat, 17 December 2011, 07:43:49 »
I'm looking to take the back off my Filco.  I loosened the two screws on the back and it comes loose but appears to still be clipped in somehow.  Are there additional screws that must be gotten from the front or clips that I need to release?  I don't want to force it and break it.  Any help is appreciated.   Thanks.

There is one under the OK-sticker. Then there is clips at front 3 I think. Atleast MJ1 was such.
So I should add something useless here yes? Ok, ok...

So if I get all 3 screws off will I be able to wiggle it off and get the clips free?

I am able to loosen up the back pretty good by taking out the screws.  But the back is still held on tight at the bottom of the board.  How do I release the clips?

nevermind - I was able to get the back off - had to use a butter knife to find and loosen up the clips.

Answer was in my sig btw: F3 "Opening Up Filco".

Maybe I should change it from 95% to 99%?

So do you have Filco's matrix/pin-layout anywhere?
