Hi all,
I have used a lot of Cherry MX based boards along with a large number of rubber dome. I by far prefer the feel of the Cherry boards.
I currently own the following boards:
Filco Ninja Maje-2 with browns
Leo tenkeyless with reds
Razer Ulti with blues
Das Pro S slient with browns (1 at home, work picked one up for me also)
I am looking at getting a tenkeyless or small form factor board for my gaming system/lan party system. I want something that has a great feel for typing, but is still very good for gaming.
I plan on using this on my gaming system at home, not on the box I use for my programming work at home (That system is keeping my filco). My issue comes in when I am on the gaming system and don't want to move computers when I need to hack away some code. Because of this, I need a board that is great for typing, but also great for gaming.
I prefer it to be tactile and also quiet. What do you guys think would be the best board to meet these needs?
A filco maje-2 tenkeyless?
A realforce 87?
Money is not the biggest concern on this board as I don't look at the price of the board as a factor, I look at the usage and the comfort I will get using it as I spend 15-16 hours or more at my keyboards per day.
