Cannot decide on a keyboard :-( Here's what I'm looking at though!

I really like cherry blues, so I think I'm going that route for my first 'board. So far, I really like the elegance of the Das Professional keyboard (I'm not 1337 enough for the ultimate, what can I say?), but ideally would like a backlit keyboard.  The deck keyboards/BW ultimates look cheesy as hell (my apologies to those who have them; I'm sure they're amazing to type on!), and the only other choice is the rather expensive ducky shine.

Is the ducky shine essentially my cheapest/only real option? Should I just get the Das Keyboards? How do the Das Professionals compare to the Ducky Shines?

Both of them are well made.
I have not had the chance to test the ducky shine yet. But the normal duckies are very well made. The same goes for das keyboard. If I had to choose one based on how solid they feel, I would go with the das. But I do like the ducky's looks more, as it looks more simple, like the Filco. But if you like the das, then you should really go for it.

The ducky is really your only backlit option if you don't like the looks of BW or Deck.

I completely forgot about the xarmor keyboard. I'm not sure how much those cost or what switches they come with.

If don't have local distro at your place, try get from global.pchome? Most ppl say they are fast, get to your house in less than 4 days.
