Realforce 87U!

I've got the same thing going! My Japanese mate is off to Japan. I'm one surprise ahead of you!!! I'm either in for a SE1900 (all 45g) or SE170S (variable Silent) - depends on which he manages to source!

... tired of waiting for keyboard co. and no willing to to pay HMPrickRC import duty

Personally i'd go with the linear r because i want to try reds, but then the only mechanics i've tried yet are browns, so my opinion is lol :D

If you want a 87u, you don't have as many choices from EK as a lot of the models are sold-out due to the $299 sale.

Not sure what the wait is all about but both the Realforce and Reds are my ultimate favorites - I say go for the 87U Silent.  Love the silent Realforce!

I think it's mainly to do with:

the WASD cluster, i.e. A is 35g on variable no? as a gamer you will unintentionally activate 'A'
35g switches activate really quickly?

Don't take my word for it though, it's what I've read ...

Where is the No 1 Keyboard expert when you need him ...

Personally I put it to chance ... I specifically told my mate the first shop, they first of the two models, I'll have it ...
