hi guys. since i began lurking these forums I have become curious to know what kinds of switches are used in the machines I use at work. So today I pulled off a keycap and snapped some pics. Can anyone identify the type of switch pictured here?

Looks linear.

I forgot to mention they have a linear feel with approximately 1mm travel to actuation and another 2 or 3mm to bottom out. They are heavier to depress than my Leopold with browns as well. No tactility whatsoever.

Anyone? Bueller? Anyone?

I have a fixed link in my post, it's highly probable that it's a Hall effect or magnetic reed switch.

To me it looks like it is based on conductive rubber. It looks like two metal pads at the bottom of the switch.
