I'm sure you can sell thick PBT pretty easily on the classifieds here, if it's not your style

Oh it looks good to me. Expensive (all the nice sets are) but I have been waiting for a set like this with beige.

Must be nice to buy them just to compare ;)

Well, not only to compare but with all the keyboards I have, I'm sure they'll find a good home. lol

If I end up doing a white/blue acrylic case, the white/blue dye sub keycaps would look awesome with the case.

I didn't do any review of the first set but my impression is that they're quite thin.  You can actually see some little indentation on top of the keycap where the stem is.  I can take a few closeup shots later.

That's because those are the very same keys, except for the labeling part of course.

Interestingly, I can see the indentation on the outside of the caps corresponding to the stem only on my side-printed white/black PBTs, but not on the engraved white/black PBTs. Molds do seem to be the same though...

seems to be a quality control thing. i have white engraved PBTs right in front of me, and i can see some stem indentation on the top of some of the keys (but not all of them)

imsto, can you please tell us if the following options are available?

1) black font

2) all white or all black PBT (instead of mix of white and grey)

3) not sure if i understand the OP correctly, but "price blank55" means blank keys are available for $55 + shipping, correct?

4) tenkeyless 87 set for a little bit cheaper?

5) send payment as paypal "gift" so you don't get charged fees?

Thanks imsto, that probably answered a lot of questions people had. Can you also clarify what this means:

Quote from: imsto;486743

blank/lasered/sideprinted is also available     lasered/sideprinted onlly fits the 3000series.
price blank55/lasered51/sideprinted51

So are blank keys available? If so, how much are they? The last answer you just said 'no'.

I'm in for a second set so I can compare 'em with the first set I got from you.  Red on white this time.

Not sure if you have the old ones to compare, but are those the same white as the old white engraved/lasered pbt's? I can't really tell from the lighting

Seattle, WA.

I think flat rate shipping is 7 dollar per person. Fitting 2 sets per box?

If we can get 4 people, we will be able to cut each of our shipping in half, if my prices above are correct.

With 4 people at one set per person the original total shipping would be $40. It's another $5 per set if I read the OP correctly.

So then divide by 4 and add 7 per individual for the second shipping. ~$17 in total overall shipping per person. Not saying I'm not interested just want to get the numbers right.

Seems like a pain in the butt to save 7 bucks. But I guess anything helps as these sets are pretty dang pricey.

Are you going to charge the fourth person, or first person depending on how you look at it and the one who receives the original shipment, for the shipping to the other three people? Because in your equation that is what you have done.

The benefit of not having to pay for the second shipping is offset by having to take the time to reship the other's sets.

Hmmm... it is confusing but I think it adds up.

$86 per set x 4 = $344
Total shipping cost = $58
Total cost = $402

Cost per person $402/4 = $100.50

That means you're paying $86/set + $14.50 shipping

:confused::sick:

The point I'm trying to make is that one person shouldn't have to pay any part of the second shipping costs since they've already received all the items, including theirs, and will be shipping sets to the remaining three people. They do pay a quarter of the first shipping costs though. I might be in for a set of blanks in either case if others want to do this.

This way everyone pays for shipping equally. Someone has to make a stop to the post office on his way to work and ship the other sets. I think the person with the least amount of posts should do this as a sign of good will.
