Hello. You are correct about this, this Dragon Year limited edition is not an official model, and there's a long story about it.
This version was born in Taiwan (where I live), and was the idea of the owner of a small shop specialized in mechanical keyboard, who I just got acquainted a few months ago. This owner is the largest distributor of Filco's product in Taiwan. Let's just call him Mr. Sun. Of course, Mr. Sun has good relation with Filco's agent in Taiwan.
As you might have known, this year is the so called Dragon Year in traditional Chinese calendar. Just one week before the eve of the Chinese new year, Mr. Sun suddenly came with this idea: a limited edition keyboard for the Dragon Year! Then he gave Filco's agent in Taiwan a phone call, and told him about how he wants this keyboard to be, and the agent agreed to produce it, even in a very small quantity. This all happened in a rush. A week later this keyboard was born, as what you see it now: red key caps with black cover.
However, the agent also promised Mr. Sun another thing: since it was originally Mr. Sun's idea about this limited edition, Mr. Sun is allowed to sell another version of this keyboard, in a total quantity of 50 units. That's right, only 50 units, which is what I'm going to show you:
