G80 has MX mechanical switches. G81 has MY switches.

Once you have read about the various switches, you can read the Dating Cherry keyboards wiki article on how to decipher the model number and find out which MX switch the G80 keyboard has. Note that there have been keyboards that have not followed that numbering.

Not many members on this board like the MY switches in the G81 keyboards, and I find it unlikely that you will either.
Personally, I think that you should go with the G80 keyboard.

thanks for the info guys,so the MY are mechanical but not the real deal, they dont feel same as the MX ones although I believe they are rated at 50M clicks right.Nice to know I will look into it later about the markings on the model numbers to figure out the switch type, keycaps plastic and type of engraving is done. I will keep to the G80 models then, thank you!!!!!!!!!!!
