Hi there, I just got two IBM selectric II typewriters from the university auction (some lucky dog got a wheelwriter, too before I arrived). One works well, but has a wobbly spacebar. One is in slightly worse condition, and the motor won't turn on at all. Both are the larger (15 inch, I think) beige.
I was wondering if anyone could point me to any service/repair manuals, or information involving disassembly that I cold look at. Any information is a help!
If you'd like, I can post pictures. I'm really happy about them. Typing is a real joy.
