Am I crazy?
« on: Tue, 24 January 2012, 02:00:55 »
I like the feel of a Siig Minitouch (white alps) a lot better than Minitouch (montereys).

I also like the vivanco kpt84.  I guess what I like about them the most is the ease of typing and the light feel.

It really does require less force.  I also have a leopold mx brown which is ok, and some model m's which to me require too much force especially with unicomp keycaps.

I want to try mx red, clears, greens and blacks along with the HHKB.  Which will give me that light feel?
Also when is HHKB coming out with the s model in black?

The moment you register a nick in this forum, you are crazy already, so do not hesitate to increase your craziness to the next level.

Most of us are crazy. From our own point of view, we are unique. Some collect keyboards, some collect money or cars. Girls collect diamonds too, so don't feel lonely.

Clears and Blacks will not give you that light feel.  I'm not familiar with Greens....

Feel is in the fingers of the be-feeler.

I am typing this on a Model F saying that I like blue Montereys very very much.

Are blue Montereys heavier/lighter or louder/quieter or more or less precise than blue Cherries?

I cannot answer this question, but I might qualify my non-answer by saying that although I am a touch-typer, I am also a big strong guy that tends to be heavy-handed and sloppy.

Blue Montereys are very similar, but slightly preferable to, white Alps.

But then I have never used the Holy Grail blue Alps.

Lol, that's a trope it itself.

I always think about that one line in real genius when they try to convince Kent that God's talking to him.

Well I'm not crazy (smirks)
Or am I?

Among fanatic Geekhackers, you are so normal that we consider that you are too simple and unimaginative for your own good.
