Those Bloomberg keyboards are temperamental pieces of ****.

Nice to type on though.

That's the old style of Bloomberg keyboard.  There's a newer one that's all shiny and nice and has an LCD screen for the SecurID authentication parts.

Not so nice to type on either.

That's the old style of Bloomberg keyboard.  There's a newer one that's all shiny and nice and has extra stuff for authentication. (http://www.flickr.com/photos/46574069@N02/4294223982/lightbox/)

It's not so much that Soros likes funky keyboards but most of the Bloomberg platform's users like a keyboard designed around the application.  They do EVERYTHING through it (email, messaging, news, etc).

If George Soros had typed on a Filco or WASD keyboards, he would immediately buy off these companies just to make sure only he can type on it from now on.

Luckily he hadn't.

It would be wiser for him to buy off ZF Electronics the manufacturer of Cherry switches.
