Hard to say. I've seen boards that look like that be MX or domes made by Keytronic... If I had to guess, I say MX blacks with SP doubleshots.

Looks like XT/AT. Be nice if it was AT since then you could easily use it with an AT to PS/2 adapter.

If I'm reading that right, it's for 10 boards? I really don't need all that, but it's tempting. What a deal if thats the case and they are in fact AT MX boards.

Interesting: most 'boards I know of don't have 2x keys in the F-row. Looks like some interesting legends on the arrowblock. I'd bid, but I don't like ISO, and shipping is really expensive at $25

If you live in AZ you can try my keyboards. I usually keep plenty of different ALPS and MX and buckling springs.

Keytronic boards PLAGUE this part of Ontario, I hate it, they look identical to model M's until you
A  • feel how **** they are
B  • see that gawdy ~Keytronic~ logo

They are Cherry black. I asked the seller to post a picture, and they did.
The package weighs 34 pounds. Nice arrow shots too.
Wow, this will be The Gladiator, part deux !

shiiiiiiiiiiiiit! are those blacks or browns?

yeah lets do this dudes

how exactly do we do an auction as a group buy? I'm thinking
• gain interest, hopefully we can get 10 people/enough people to buy 10
   • If not, we just split them
• we agree on a median/highest amount we'd all be willing to pay, plus a static contribution for shipping
• bid accordingly, don't go over the median, try and snipe it if things get heated
• Ship to the most central location possible

I'd be in for up to $15 or so, $20 tops

edit: oh, and last 2 to join get the out of boxers? not like it's a huge deal

I did this before. We need someone who bids on them and then collects mone and ships these out.

It must be someone from the US who wants at least one for himself.
I'd be in for one at $25 plus shipping.

I know it's been like.. seconds, i'm sure we'll get some more people interested by the end of the day, but magna, will you be coming in with us or going against us? the idea of any GH'er bidding on this too will really drive the price up :/ I keep reminding myself that it's an AT keyboard and it's not such a big deal, but having some vintage black action would be neat

definitely, this is a pretty complicated afair

in an ideal world we'll get exactly 10 people on board, and hopefully within those we have someone who
• lives in (hopefully north-eastern) US
• has some seniority/feedback on GH
• has a reliable internet connection and an Ebay account

now, less than 10 people we can deal with, the issue comes when more than 10 are interested. This is a public auction, and is therefore available for anyone to pick up and try to resell. Anyways, it's just something to consider, I think once we have our full list we'll need to get a private discussion going about price, as it would be foolish to do so in public

99% sure they would just be SP caps. I've had a few nearly identical MX boards for terminals, and they all had thin SP doubleshots.

I can volunteer to bid on these and distribute them. But choosing who gets what is gonna be a pain in the ass.

I could go with the first 10 people to post in this thread? or a raffle of some sort? haha. ideas?

Here would be the order list based on post order:

bazemk1979
lysol
SmallFry
dorkvader
Magna224
OkGold
BiNiaRiS
poxeclipse
7bit
DrSchlock

Cutoff:
mmmty
harrison
andrewjoy

If anyone from the top 10 doesn't want in someone else can get in. i know a couple up there are EU so shipping isn't going to be fun.

Awesome BiNiaRiS! thanks for volunteering

The way I see it so far is

Claimed spots in the group buy:
1 • new, sealed box  • 7bit - Berlin/Germany
2 • new, sealed box  • OkGold -  London/Ontario/Canada
3 • new, sealed box  • poxeclipse - Toronto/Ontario/Canada
4 • new, sealed box  • DrSchlock - Cincinnati/Ohio
5 • new, sealed box  • mmmty - Somewhere in the US
6 • new, sealed box  • BiNiaRiS - Portlan/Oregon
7 • new, sealed box  • HOLD
8 • new, sealed box  • OPEN
9 • new, open box    • OPEN
10 • new, open box  • OPEN

shown interest in the product, not confirmed for GB:
• harrison
• Magna
• REVENGE
• bazemk1979

so I really don't think we can finalize the list, since the bottom four really haven't voiced any interest in joining (except REVENGE, we'll hold a spot for him assuming he wants in), lots of people in the thread aren't necessaries interested in one

Last one I had that was in that layout, had nothing but ANSI keyboard 2.0 made in Korea printed in the pcb. It's not even a freaking ANSI board! Another one simply said made in Thailand. No part numbers, or anything else useful.
