So I have a dodgy Scorpius M10 sitting around and I'd like it to complement my Majestouch TKL brown. Only issue is, 7 critical keys don't work! The keyboard was purchased new. It has not been subject to any sort of environmental hazards
The keys stopped working very shortly after I started using it.
The keys are:
Y U G H J N MI opened up the board and don't see any issues with the solder, although I've provided a few
images because I'm not very confident that I could even spot a soldering issue (all photos taken with keyboard at same orientation).
I suspect this is not a soldering issue (at least not at the location of the keys) because you will notice that all the dodgy keys are in a cluster.
If this is not a soldering issue, what other components could fail on a keyboard to take out a cluster of keys?
Returning it is out of the question, unfortunately.
[edit] I think
this could well be the problem! As it does not appear to be connecting any one key this would lead me to assume it's screwing up a cluster.
