This is a keystroke logger which goes between the PS/2 keyboard and the computer.  I don't know how you get the keystrokes off it again, though.  Any experience with these things?  It sounds like it could be useful if the keystrokes could be aggregated and searched.

The one I played with before has a key combo that spits out what was typed. You just open up something like notepad and press the combo, it shows the keys plain text.

So, I got the manual here: http://www.lm-ce.com/home/spyware/LM893/ps2-keysafe-pro
Open any word processing application, and type in a password, where you can then access the menu and recorded keystrokes.

Holy ****, lol

Of note: I made a conscience decision that if any of my actions were tracked and exposed that I would pound any guilty parties into putty, see if there is legal recourse, and make no apologies for my actions. Keyloggers/software are just wrong.

Of course I have nothing to hide, it's the principle :)

Oh no, I only wanted this to track my own keystrokes.  To track down WTF went wrong after I spectacularly break something (though the Emacs window usually has a log of commands typed) or perhaps to analyse it for common typos which I might train myself out of.

You could always use a software keylogger for whatever you are doing.

IIRC, ripster said he put a keystroke logger on his teenage son's computer.
