PLU ML-87 vs Noppoo Chuc
« on: Sun, 19 February 2012, 05:46:53 »
I currently have a chuc mini, but I am a programmre and use the special keys '\[] and del alot, and I do make a lot of typing mistakes because the mini is so cramped over there.

I have seen filco, but they dont have mediakeys which I accually really like having on my chuc mini and also its really expensive.

How is the quality of the PLU compared to the noppoo?

Most people(in China) now suggest or go for Keycool 87 instead of PLU nowadays.

Yup but that isn't really the best deal around. If at that price, better get it from Keycool's official store(in taobao) as they do sell some misc and accessories which you may need too.
here is it,

Isn't keycool cherry stabilized?

PLU uses costar stabilizers, black version comes with POM keycaps, but the drawback is that it's 2KRO. But I can attest you that for RTS and typing the 2KRO is NOT an issue. In fact, even for FPS I did not notice anyting wrong (CS 1.6).

I've encountered a minor issue with the MX Red version, but it's very easy to fix.

It is steelwire(Costar style) stabiliser. Anymore doubt read my review on it.

The POM may be a merit but also a deal-breaker(if you are going for blue switch). It is because I had heard many had plugged out the stem together with keycaps as they claimed that the POM is really too tight.

BTW, keycool is USB 21KRO.
